Yes they already closed the previous loophole, I wonder if there would be a way for someone to recreate the homepage as a third party site. I hope so anyway because right now I find the new one to be really slow and clunky for looking through my subscriptions.

Their complaints forum is overflowing with people angry at the changes and the link was thrown around a bit.
